Bill Randles – We have Entered the Time of the Strong Delusion!

Hi everyone;

I really enjoyed this interview Tony did with Bill Randles. Not sure exactly what his beliefs are on other topics, but when it comes to the promised end-time delusion I think he has certainly got it right!

We Have Entered The Time Of Strong Delusion! – Bill Randles

Let me know what you think one way or the other.

Blessings to all who love our Christ;

  1. Just wondering, What your response is to the current hysteria over the Virus.
    Seems like a very open view to people’s lack of faith in the Lord and a road-map of how easy it is to panic a large segment of folks because ‘fear’ of losing access to simple items and markets causes ‘gridlock’ because so many things that we rely on daily are Not as easy to get.
    Fasting has never crossed their mind.
    Prayers for God showing a different way of getting your desire accomplished and even helping other during the same time.
    Maybe this hysteria can open people’s hearts to seek God and the Church getting ready to ‘really’ preach the Gospel?
    Should provide a good preparation for Revival?
    Keep up your Good work. Truth Will win.

    God Bless,

    1. Hi Mike;
      The world has seemingly gone batty over this current viral outbreak. It is like they have forgotten it is a flu, and are treating it like it is the black plague or something. Yes, flu can be quite deadly. A particularly deadly strain killed an enormous number of people a century ago.
      ANY lose of live is a very sad deal and we have great sympathies for the families of those who have perished. But we know that the common flu kills 30,000 to 80,000 people every year in this country and there is no panic over those numbers; and everyone is freaked out by 1,000 deaths from this virus?

      There are a lot of folks sensationalizing this outbreak (most of whom make a living out of sensationalizing everything that comes along). We will have to wait and see how much of the hyperbole we are hearing is true. I think that right now the damage being done by the panic the media is fostering is a greater danger to us than the risk of contagion. If the supply chains we depend upon for food, fuel and medicine completely fall to pieces people could perish in the large cities in unbelievable numbers.

      We have been assailed by flu scares since I can remember (swine flu, bird flu, and now the deadly BAT-FLU!!!!!!!!!!). And ‘big-pharma’ rakes in 100’s of Billions off their marginally effective (and questionably safe for human consumption) vaccines! There certainly is a chance this strain of (bat)flu could turn out to be very deadly and kill hundreds of thousands, or even millions; but right now I don’t see that extreme. We can only see how it plays out, and pray for leading as to what steps the Lord would have us take individually.

      Blessings to you;

    2. Interesting phrase you started with, “the world seems to have gone Batty”. There are some reports offering that the current ‘Virus” is born from Bats in China.

      Regardless of who and where, we must deal with the present reality.

      Besides the food, paper towels, toilet paper, and bottled water supplies being stressed,

      I realized just yesterday, (Sunday) how much the “Church” around my area has been compromised. I live in central Indiana about the center of the USA. Supposedly the “Bible Belt” of the country.

      On our way to our regular local Church Services we noticed some Churches and parking lots completely abandoned.

      I told my wife – at a time like this, when Churches should be stepping up to draw folks to Christ and Preach the Gospel, they are shutting down?

      This brings up another matter that I believe figures in strongly to all of the current panic – and that is the “Electronic Age” that we live in.

      For a while now some larger Churches have offered “On Line Streaming and Recorded, as in You Tube” Church Services.

      OK and that has been readily accepted, especially for “shut-ins, elderly, nursing home and hospitalized”, etc., etc., etc. folks.

      However when healthy, available and easily transportable people choose to stay away from the “Fellowship of Believers” the robbery of the others of the ‘fellowship’ suffer as well as those refusing to attend. The entire ‘Body of Christ’ suffers from malnutrition.

      This also, in my own opinion, slowly allow a ‘falling away from the faith’ and surrender to what electronic media provides, and that media can be easily “edited, manipulated and changed” even by home computers, laptops, lately iPads and sometime even iPhones.

      This situation has also polluted the message of the Gospel.

      Now my own prayer times have provided me with some ‘personal’ thoughts and questions about the “electronic media” that I want to ask about, since I believe that you and I are on the same wave link, so to speak. I have been concerned about the ‘pre-trib’ theology for several years. Study on the ever popular “Antichrist” , Who he is, When he will appear and this whole direction of focus – verses our need to focus on Christ and His Word.

      I want to ask for some ‘off record’ thoughts of yours, “is it possible that all of the questions about Whom When and such of the ‘antichrist’, could be wrapped up in the Internet?

      The antichrist is supposed to have “all the answers humanity needs” during the trib., times – right – and who and where do the people of this electronic age look for answers,,,,,- Google gets around 6 million search questions every minute. That does Not count You Tube for videos and they have a mighty big collection of ‘off the rail videos’ to poison minds of searchers young and old.

      Now to my way of thinking – this past week I saw some news stating that some of our political leaders are ‘Looking for ways to avoid large gatherings of people when it comes time to VOTE’

      So we Need a way for “Remote Voting” – which will open the door for electronic editing for powerful elite people to Control Who gets in office as our leaders.

      At the moment their target is likely our current President, but as time rolls on it will be whoever rises to their requirements at the time.

      While I am Not pressing, or publishing this issue, I AM wondering and watching as more and more events line up with the Prophetic Word and just wondering, off record, your thoughts.

      Keep up your great ministry.

      And Thank You for your solid views off the prophetic.

      God Bless,

      Mike S.

  2. I may have been a little too bold in my disagreement with Bill because there is surely plenty of delusion in this world. I am not saying Bill is wrong about delusion, but that delusion is not sent by God but by man and Satan. I agree with what you are saying, ‘tuning out’ of God’s voice and yes, it is caused by false teaching, but those who follow these teachings choose to, it is not sent, but by Satan. But in 2 Thess. this is something totally different. That wicked (beast/false prophet) “who comes after the workings of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,” “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion”

    The truth is out there for those who search for it. But those who totally reject the truth, is when He turns them over to a reprobate mind, and sin and wickedness is all that is left of their corrupted mind and they have no more protection. It will be the same as when Jesus first came and the Sadducees and Pharisees eyes were blinded that they could not see he was the Messiah; at the end they will see the beast/false prophet as the Messiah.
    Maybe I am wrong, but may God bless us with the Truth! Love your work, may God bless your health and His blessings may flow through you!

  3. This is taken out of context to use in an hour sermon that probably left many saying what! Many of Churches are full of man-made doctrines not from truth. True doctrine must come from God, not from mere men. Even the Lord Jesus said, “My doctrine is not mine, but his who sent me”. John.7: 16. Paul placed a very high value on doctrine which is true and must be sound.

    Colossians 2:8 “8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ”.

    People are walking in the spirit of the world and not the Spirit of God. The leaven is coming close to leavening the whole lump.

    2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 (KJV) 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

    Today we are not under the delusion that God will send. This is the same as saying the Great Tribulation is the same as the Wrath of God. If we take this in the context which it is placed, it is comforting them about the second coming of Jesus. This will be after the coming of the beast, and Satan gives his power to the beast. God will send this delusion that they will believe the lie, worship the beast and Satan and take the mark and be damned. Only the elect of God, the chosen, that are still here will not believe the beast and the false prophet. Deception is what’s taking people out of the way these days. Satan and his minions have slowly desensitized this world and many do not even know what the truth really is. It’s like what has been done through TV. In seventy-years, it has slowly added one thing until people are numb to it, then more and more, the same has happened in many of the churches.

    1. Hi Ronald;
      I understand the point you are trying to make in that the Word definitely ties this ‘strong delusion’ to the appearance of Antichrist. But I do not feel brother Randles has misused the phrase in his talk. What I see from the totality of God’s Word is that this delusion is already in play (and has been for a very long time) but will find a fullness of expression (come to a head) in the days of the reign of Antichrist.

      We see from the Scriptures that the spirit of Antichrist is already at work in this world (1John 3:18, Ephesians 2:2); and also that giving place to the deceptions put forth by that spirit brings a reprobate/delusional condition upon those who reject the truth (2Tim. 4:3-4, Romans 1:21-28). Notice in Romans chapter one, in regard to being given over to a reprobate mind, it says they: “became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened”. Is this not ‘delusion’ at work?

      The Bible uses an expression of man’s iniquity ‘coming to a full’ (Genesis 15:16). The ‘devolving’ of a society, or even individuals, to a deluded or reprobate state involves a progressive ‘tuning out’ of God and his truth. I see the delusional condition (Randles was warning of) clearly as a by-product of rejecting the truth; and it is quite easy for anyone with a moderate level of discernment to see this absolutely evident in the current state of many professing to be believers.

      I believe teachings such as the pre-trib rapture and OSAS are actually fruit of this ‘tuning out’ of God’s voice in favor of more user-friendly (flesh-pleasing) alternatives; and they are without doubt delusional in nature. And I see these delusional teachings as absolutely foundational to the to the culmination of all this Paul described in 2Thess. 2:11.

      In summary:
      I feel that the ‘strong delusion’ Paul warned the Thessalonians would manifest under the reign of Antichrist is a progressive historical conflict of God speaking truth to mankind, and mankind rejecting that truth (and suffering the consequences of dong so), all coming to a head (fullness) in the final days of this age. IMHO

  4. Terrible interview! If you know the Word of God, you don’t claim Judeo-Christianity. That is an oxymoron. Christianity was never Judaism.

    Don’t hurt your testimony with men who don’t know God.

    1. Hi Wilma;
      While we all should understand the marked differences between Judaism and Christianity, due to the fact our Christian faith was birthed out from a foundation of Judaism, and because both share views about our Creator that are in many ways similar, it is common for people to refer to those similarities as ‘Judaeo-Christian’ values or moral standards.

      When brother Randles used the term ‘Judaeo-Christian’ in this message he was (in my understanding) speaking in the sense of societal morality or a God-ward attitude. He was in no way expressing any off-shoot of Christianity like the ‘Hebrew Roots’ movement or similar legalistic sects that require a return to keeping the Law of Moses. He is not even from a Jewish background. I believe he was saved from a Catholic religious background.

      I thought the interview presented an excellent look at the current delusion/apostasy plaguing the Western Church; and also stressed many key elements of the true Gospel of our Lord (repentance, faith in Jesus, eternal reward for the righteous, eternal hellfire for the wicked, holiness in lifestyle, the call to raise up the standard of biblical truth, and the importance of preaching on end-time prophesy and the Second Coming of Christ).

      To say that this brother ‘does not know God’ over one statement he made (which you incorrectly interpreted in my opinion) is a pretty harsh accusation don’t you think? I think the talk would be worth another listen on your part bearing in mind the common usage of the term ‘Judaeo-Christian’ is NOT a reference to an amalgam of the two religions but to the values/morality they share..

  5. I tried to play the audio file but don’t understand anything. It seems to me that’s too wordy for nothing. I almost don’t understand SPOKEN English. I would appreciate if there were a small text explaining with a few sentences what you think that “strong delusion” is, instead of long audio or video files were 90% of the words spoken are useless. English is an international language, and there are a lot of people everywhere on the planet that can read English but doesn’t understand iy in it’s spoken form. Unfortunately, there are now an increasing number of Christian websites that like to upload videos, thinking to please people with something more attractive, but instead limiting their audience to people that like audio / video TV garbage. There are people like me that stoped watching TV 40 years ago…
