Who Are The Elect Of God Today? A SIMPLE Biblical Image Of Election Destroys The Pre-trib Rapture Theory!

Many believers are confused (or deceived) over the concept of Election. This is completely unnecessary! This concept is easily understood by setting aside the complicated theories of man, and embracing a simple illustration given by the Apostle Paul.

the elect of God
“Hermeneutics? Historical grammatical exegesis? Could you speak in English, please?”

by Paul Benson

Sadly, the ‘Learned Ones’ have a way of turning the simple truths of the Bible into a complicated mess which can only be (supposedly) understood through their ‘Learned Theories’. The wayward notions of TWO comings of Christ in the end-times, and a pre-tribulation rapture, rest upon (and in fact are forced by) what is known as Dispensational Theology. Without this faulty theological foundation as a platform, an already wobbly pre-trib rapture theory would fall over on its deluded noggin.

A Dispensationalist will often ‘prove’ his theory by pointing out the many errors of Replacement (Covenant) Theology. And this is not hard to do as those errors do exist. It is quite possible to show from the Scriptures the many shortcomings of Replacement theology. But there is a subtle deception at work there. Because Dispensational (Separation) theology is also full of error itself. A classic case of the pot calling the kettle black!

The truth of the matter is found in a fact which those who promote either of those theories like to ignore. That there is a third theory which rebukes both of them; and presents a Biblical (and therefor proper) understanding of the concept of Election. That third theory is known as Remnant Theology. But you do not need to be a theologian to understand who God’s true elect are; it is actually quite simple! Continue reading “Who Are The Elect Of God Today? A Secret Coming Of Christ? Could You Show Me THAT Verse, Please?

Is a secret invisible Coming of Christ to take away the Church before the tribulation taught in the Scriptures? If not, why should we believe such a thing?

Questioning the Rapture Theory
Invisible return? I don’t remember ever reading that!

The following is a modified excerpt from the book ‘Escape or Passover’.

by Paul Benson.

A Secret Coming?

I have heard many a speaker proclaim a secret invisible Coming of Christ to ‘rapture’ the Church’ as an integral part of the teachings of God’s Word, but I have never heard anyone quote a passage which actually says such a thing! Try as they might to garner Scriptural support for this notion, there is none. There is not one passage in the Bible which explicitly puts forth this concept. It has to be presupposed, and then collaborated by bits of verse pulled out of context. Let’s look at what the Scriptures really do have to say about the Return of Christ. A Faith Builder! Seeing Jesus In The Old Testament Feasts!

Passover through Tabernacles: the Old Testament Feasts paint a prophetic tapestry of the Lord Jesus Christ and his role as our Savior. Recognizing this is a great faith builder!

The Prophetic Feasts Of The Lord

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. John 5:39

One of the greatest blessings I have ever had in studying the Scriptures is how God revealed to me the prophetic nature of the Old Testament feasts. That from Passover right through to Tabernacles the ‘Feasts of the Lord’ present an awe-inspiring prophetic picture of the birth, life, ministry, death, Resurrection, ascension, and current role as intercessor of our Lord Jesus Christ; as well as his future Coming to rule and reign!

How amazing that all these things concerning Christ could be perfectly foretold in the various aspects of the yearly feast days celebrated by God’s people down through the centuries. As a student of God’s Word I had always had a tiny glimpse of these truths through the New Testament usage of phrases like ‘Christ our Passover’ and ‘Christ the Firstfruits’ and so on. But it took an amazing encounter with the Holy Spirit to really shine the light on this; and when he did a whole new dimension of God’s Word wonderfully opened up to me. Is The Great Tribulation God’s Wrath?

Should we accept the notion that the coming ‘great tribulation’ Jesus spoke of is the Wrath of God being poured out; or is this a concept out of sync with God’s Word?

The Great Tribulation the wrath of God/

by Paul Benson

The Great Tribulation

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Matthew 24:21

When Jesus was teaching on the end-time events which would precede his Return he spoke of a period of tremendous woe upon mankind. He described a coming time of war, famine, plague, natural disasters, great religious deception and persecution of the followers of Christ on a scale never seen before.

Many Bible teachers are claiming this time of great tribulation is actually the wrath of God being poured out upon mankind. And that because God has promised to ‘save us from the wrath to come’ the Church will be taken to Heaven before this woe begins. But where did anyone get the idea that when the Bible speaks about being saved from God’s wrath it is referring to the ‘great tribulation’? Is this a notion that is actually presented by the Scriptures? Let’s take a look. Continue reading “Is The Great Tribulation God’s Wrath?”

Can Christians Change The Fate Of A Nation Under Judgment?

Should believers give up praying for America to turn back to God (as many are suggesting); or cease with their warnings of divine judgment upon her?

The judgment of America

by Paul Benson

Are Americans Without Hope Of A Future?

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. -Paul an apostle of Christ

As human beings it is quite natural to take concern for the future; for our own, and also that of our children and grandchildren. We want to live a peaceable life, and to have an assurance that our offspring will grow up in a culture where they can thrive and prosper as they raise families of their own. But these days many are wondering if there will even be a future for them to live in!

The prophets of God have long since been testifying of the coming destruction of this nation. Looking around at the current condition of our society: the economy, food and oil production, industry, religion, education, and now outright acts of terrorism (not to mention the tyrannical turn our government has taken) it becomes quite apparent the blessing of God has been removed from this country.

As the realization sets in among the Christian community that we are in fact a nation under God’s Judgment the question arises: Can America be spared? Is there any hope for mercy; and for a future for this nation? Continue reading “Can Christians Change The Fate Of A Nation Under Judgment?”

Genesis 6: Did Fallen Angels Marry Women And Produce Hybrid Offspring?

A very popular notion; but is this truly something the Bible teaches?

Gensis 6 The Sos of God

by Paul Benson

Who Were The Sons Of God In Genesis 6?

…when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Genesis 6:1-4

I think God went to great lengths to make the Bible an interesting and mysterious book. One that would hold our attention and provoke us to study. While the basic doctrines of the Christian faith are explicitly and plainly stated in the Word of God (with multiple witnesses), there are many truths in the Scriptures which are not so clearly expressed. Some are scattered like pieces of a puzzle throughout the pages of the Bible, and must be gathered into your understanding by much prayerful study, and then sorted out and pieced together.

Then there is another category altogether. Mysterious segments of Scripture which raise serious questions; of which we are given little assistance answering by the remainder of the Bible. One such passage is Genesis 6:1-4. The wording of these verses has led many to believe that fallen angels took wives of human women, and produced hybrid offspring. Others absolutely reject that idea. This debate has been ongoing since the days of the early Church. Here are my thoughts on the matter. Continue reading “Genesis 6: Did Fallen Angels Marry Women And Produce Hybrid Offspring?”

The Curse Of The Pre-Trib Rapture!

Tempted to mock? There is a Scripture that speaks of one who answers before he hears a matter (Proverbs 18:13). Is that YOU?

  Seeking Whom He May Devour…

by Paul Benson

Today the Church is being flooded with a tsunami of deception; and one of the greatest areas of false teaching is concerning the Return of our Lord Jesus to this world. It is the desire of the enemy of our souls that multitudes of Christians, seduced by deception, would enter the final 3 1/2 years of this age out of sync with God, and out from under his blessing, If you think this is not possible you are quite wrong; it is not only possible, this seduction is taking place right under our noses.

A good many years have passed since the Lord opened my eyes to the fact the Resurrection of the Just, and our catching away, takes place at the Second Coming; and that the notion of a prior event called the Pre-tribulation Rapture is not correct doctrine. One of the most challenging aspects of teaching on this issue is to get folks to realize the enormous damage caused by embracing that error, and the great danger it presents to the end-time generation. Let me share with you some insights the Lord has given me concerning just how serious a matter this truly is. Continue reading “The Curse Of The Pre-Trib Rapture!”

No Rapture Before The Signs In The Heavens Transpire!

Have you been told there are no signs that need to be fulfilled before the catching away of the Church can happen? Maybe a good look at what the Bible really says might be in order!

By Paul Benson

A New Heavens

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Isaiah 65:17

The Bible clearly teaches God is going to create new heavens. In light of this have you ever wondered what brings about the end of the current heavens? It is an event we see prophesied throughout the Old and New Testament. There are nearly twenty passages of Scripture which refer to the demise of the heavens / stars which now are. That’s a lot of Scripture devoted to a topic we rarely hear preached on. (Perhaps because it causes conflict with their end-time teachings?)

Surprisingly, according to God’s Word this event must transpire BEFORE what many refer to as ‘the Rapture’ (but the Bible calls the Resurrection of the Dead at the last day). Let’s lay some Scriptural foundation as to the fact this demise of the heavens happens in the events leading up to the Return of Jesus Christ to this planet. The Pre-trib Rapture
The Pre-trib Rapture Theory?

by Paul Benson

Maybe you could help me with my research. I have been looking for years for answers to some questions the pre-tribulation rapture theory raises in my mind. The problem is I cannot locate the Bible verses that clearly teach these major facets of the rapture theory (of which I am assured are quite Scriptural).

All other major doctrines of our faith are plainly stated in the Scriptures with multiple witnesses leaving no doubt what we are to believe. If there are 31,102 verses in the Bible surely there must be loads of passages explicitly stating these elemental truths of the rapture theory. Do you know where they are? Vision of the End Time Church

Tommy Hicks, an evangelist, was used by the Lord in the great Argentine Revival. God gave him vision in 1961 of the end times, a vision of the giant end-time ministry.

Tommy Hicks’ Vision of the End Time Church

This vision began July 25th, about 2:30 in the morning, in Winnipeg, Canada. The vision came three times, exactly in detail, the morning of July 25th, 1961. I was so stirred and so moved by the revelation that this has changed my complete outlook upon the body of Christ, and upon the end-time ministry. The greatest thing that the church of Jesus Christ has ever been given, lies straight ahead. It is difficult to help men and women to realize the thing that God is trying to give to His people in the end-time.

I do not think I fully realized nor could I understand the fullness of it until I read in the book of Joel 2:23, Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

It is not only going to rain the former and the latter rain, but He is going to give His people in these last days a double portion of the power of God. Continue reading “Vision of the End Time Church”
